Hi Jason,

I have just uploaded my newer profile I have been using for a while but have not had time to upload. This newer profile is completely custom and generated by using a Macbeth ColorChecker as a starting base and then tweaking a little from there. If you want to try your hand at making you own profiles, then see www.adobe.com/dng You will also find the Porfile Creator on that page.

Thanks for the help. I was able to get the profile to work, but to me it is still a little off. :(

I know that the a99 is supported. How did you go about creating this DCP file. Is there a way to take the changes made by adobe's a99 camera profile and apply them to the a77?

Delareyville is just around the corner from me! Thank you for the compliments! I highly recommend BidOrBuy as you can check for Verified Sellers. keep clear of sites like Gumtree or OLX where scammers advertise such items at good prices, but after you have paid you never see the items (or your money) again.

Hi Lennox,

You did not say where you are from, so I will give you South African value as well as Dollar value.
A Canon 600D goes for around $300 or R2600 (no more!) with kit lens.
A Canon 650D goes for around $460 or R4000 with kit lens.
I would not go for a 500D as they are a little dated and chances are they may have thousands of shutter actuation (risk of shutter failure). These cameras are classed as entry level, so even though you have a pretty OK sensor the mechanics are not as robust and may let you down if you do a lot of photos. It is, however, a good camera to have if you need a backup and already own Canon lenses.

Hi Riaan

I am looking for a pre-owned Digital SLR camera preferably Canon EOS (500D, 600D or 650D) or any Nikon SLRs, I am going to use it as my secondary camera so any cheap pre-owned DSLR would do.

for how much am I looking at?

thanks
Lennox

Hi Natasha.
I do not believe in price variance for so-called "Off-Peak" seasons as I fill my photography with other types of photography when weddings slow down. If you diversify your photography and look for opportunities you do not have to suffer during the slow wedding seasons. This is the reason I am not exclusively a wedding photographer.

Thank you Beji,
Why did I go Sony? I come from Minolta days and many of the lenses work fine with Sony. Many of the Minolta lenses are also superior to many of the newer (and very expensive) lenses.

Hi Jason.
I would love to help you, but I am a Mac Dummy so I cannot say why the download link becomes jibberish on your side. I have tested again and it is fine from my PC. Have you tried "Save Link As"?
